First Day of Soccer, Oct 4

We had our first soccer games of the season Saturday. I have to confess, we (meaning Dean and Dayna) were not looking forward to another crazy soccer season. But we realized after Saturday that it would be different this year. For one thing, this is the first year Dean is not a coach and so we can enjoy the game and practices a little more. Also, Danielle and Drew will have their practices and games on the same field this year so we can all go to both games as a family. It was a little chilly for Danielle's game at 8:00, but definitely hot for Drew's game at noon. Brinley was a trooper through both. It will be interesting to see what she is like when it is time for her to play. Hopefully she will be able to have a better uniform and cleats than the ones she has on here. It was a fun day and we realized that we do enjoy being that annoying soccer family. Dean and Dayna probably need to chill on the sidelines however. Finally, Danielle and Drew wanted me to include that Danielle scored 2 goals and her team won. Drew also scored a goal and will look for his team's first victory next week. Go U10 Quails and U8 Rams!
