After a few days in Utah, Dean had to fly back for work. I packed the mini-van up again and we headed south to Amber and Paul's so the kids could see their cousins on my side. On the way down, we stopped at church at Apple Valley Ward. It was so great to see everybody! We miss Apple Valley so much. It was like we never left. Brinley even went to nursery with no problem and didn't want to leave. She can feel the spirit of those people as any one can who knows them. In Relief Society, my friends Polly, Shirley, Pat, Leola, and Evonne surprised me by getting Annetta to announce an open house for me and the kids at Polly's house. Never let it be said that things don't get done in Apple Valley Ward. I was so embarrassed, but the night of the open house I loved seeing all my sisters and visiting with them. Another neat part was that Polly lives next door to Krista, so my kids and her kids just played the whole time (and Annetta's kids too). Clearly it was so much fun that I forgot to take any pictures. So typical. We love loving and knowing ALL of our Apple Valley friends and we miss them terribly. We have the Apple Valley spirit with us all the time.
We had so much fun at Amber and Paul's. The kids played and played and played and played some more! Amber and Paul just moved into an amazing new house. It is huge! Before we knew it, we were picking Dean up at the airport and that same day we went to Lagoon. The Eriksson's met us there.
