Our Spring Break, April 13th-17th

The banana slide that the Easter Bunny brought was perfect for the break. As you can see, Brinley trails behind, but eventually she gets there. She loved this more than anybody. Danielle had a play date to swim over at her friend Indy's house this week as well. So, she got quite a bit of water time in. It was a perfect week for weather, 70's and 80's every day and cooler at night.

Dyeing Easter eggs the day after Easter Sunday.
Hey, better late than never, right?
More water fun...Monday night we went to the park and played with other families from the ward. Brinley wasn't sure about the mister at first, then she really liked it. The older kids had fun playing sports with everyone.Ty spent the day at our house one day.
The kids have so much fun with #4. Dean took about a day and a half off at the end of the week. We went to see Monsters vs. Aliens the first afternoon. Brinley sat through the whole movie again! We were so proud. We went on the Hidden Palms hike Friday afternoon and brought Ty with us. Saturday, Drew had a playdate with his friend 'D' from school. His dad works with Dean. Later that evening, he ended up coming back with his Dad and older sister to watch the UFC fight with some other guys Dean knows. Leo, Danielle's friend from school, came too. It was a fun night. Most of the break was spent just relaxing...This is the Brinley's "princess dress." It was Danielle's. The baby usually has her own blanket on her and Brinley has her "butterfly blankie" on herself. I guess she was just to put out to bother.

BEFORE...
DURING...Danielle took a turn, it was a family afair...We're done right? This looks good, right?AFTER:
My Drewbee's back! Doesn't he look handsome?
We went to the Deans' that evening to celebrate Jenie's birthday. It was a great way to end the spring break. We were not ready to "get back to the grind." But, life goes on. Dean did say that he missed going to the games this week...

Drew look so different, but great. I love the water slide - three slides, so no one ever has to wait in line! And I love the picture of Brinley with her blowing hair. Looks like you have a great spring break. We are so sad it is already over too!
