June 3, 2010 - California ScienCenter

For a Robotics field trip. Miss Liberty got together a trip to the California ScienCenter in L.A. (Both of the kids pointed out to me that this was spelled wrong, hmmmm).  It was such a great place, never seen anything like it. The kids had a great day.
First they were signed up to do a lab experiment. The room it was in was amazing. They had to figure out the right weight and sail to make their boat stay afloat and go fast.
Then they were able to do a lot of hands on stuff, experience simulators too.  You could take a week to do everything if you wanted.  They had a show where you watched this huge mechanical body demonstrate how things worked.  Drew even performed surgery!
Miss Liberty arranged for them all to ride on a suspended bicycle in the air. They loved doing it and even mom tried. No pictures of my face though.

But mostly the kids just loved hanging out with friends. Such a fun day!
Especially Danielle, she is really going to miss this group of kids.  Next year they will all be split up into three different junior highs and we will most likely be in Utah.  It's great she can finish out the school year with activities that make memories like these.

The twins had a great time we heard ALL about it - in stereo with both talking at once. How fun!

It is such a great group of friends. Sad to see it end!
